Kimberly Richardson
After being found as an infant crawling among old and dusty books in an abandoned library, Kimberly Richardson grew up to be an eccentric woman with a taste for listening to dark cabaret music while drinking tea, reading books in every genre, and writing stories that cause people to make the strangest faces. Her first book, Tales From a Goth Librarian, was published through Kerlak Publishing in March 2009. In her precious but little spare time, she enjoys all things Steampunk, Gothic, eccentric and eclectic, and anything that is coloured purple, blue, or green. Her family, albeit normal, loves her as much as she loves them. She currently resides in Memphis, Tennessee with two cats and several hundred books and is in a relationship with Michael Greenway, the Rapids Nerd blogger in Huntsville, Alabama.

I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed your book!
I was reading Bird by Bird a few months back, and there's this line in there about how certain kinds of people either end up being career criminals or writers. That's what I thought of when I finished Silk. Don't worry, it's a compliment, I swear! It's creepy in a Hannibal Lecter sort of way, in a way that's it's so out there, but believable at the same time. It takes a certain kind of person to get in to that kind of characters head, and do it well. You did it eerily well! I think Cover Her with Violets is my favorite story in the collection though.
One of the aspects I enjoyed most about your stories is that they focus heavily on a character's thoughts and emotions as a means of story telling. I do that in my own writing, constantly wondering what my character is thinking and wanting to tell their story that way.
