Allan Gilbreath will be returning to the 2008 Florida Writers Association Conference on Nov 14 - 16 at the Marriott Hotel in Lake Mary, FL for another fabulous writer's conference. He will be presenting "How to Create, Construct, Write, and Tell a Scary Story". Take this chance to learn directly from one of today's most entertaining award-winning talents.

MidSouthCon 26 Science Fiction Convention in Memphis, TN on March 28 - 30 was in a word - fabulous. In spite of an amazing amount of rain and cranky elevators, we got to see a lot of of old friends and meet lots of new ones! Make plans now to see us at MidSouthCon 27.

OmegaCon - Past, Future, and Beyond on Mar 14 - 16, 2008 was a blast. We would like to thank everyone that made it such a great weekend. We hope to see everyone again next year!

Allan Gilbreath is the 2008 Darrell Award First Runner Up for Best Short Story for Toradh of the Gem featured in Mark Fitzgerald Presents Tales of Fantasy. The Darrell Awards are bestowed by the MidSouth Science Fiction Association.

Allan Gilbreath is the 2007 Darrell Award Finalist for Best Novel for Dark Chances. James Ferris, short story "Darkness", and Allan Gilbreath, short story "Time to Come Out and Play", are both recipients of Honorable Mentions for the 2007 Darrell Award for Best Short Story, both published in Time Intertwined. The Darrell Awards are bestowed by the MidSouth Science Fiction Association.

Allan Gilbreath, author of Galen, was the 2006 Darrell Award winner for Best Short Story for "Lepus Europaeus" and James Ferris was the 2006 Darrell Award Short Story Finalist for "Black Mary", both published in Modern Witches, Wizards, and Magic. The Darrell Awards are bestowed by the MidSouth Science Fiction Association.

Jeff Crook, Editor of Best of Memphis Anthology 2003, is the winner of the 2004 Darrell Award for Best Other Work. He also recieved First-Runner-Up for Best MidSouth Novel. The Darrell Awards are bestowed by the MidSouth Science Fiction Association.
